GeoPolitical Boundaries is a blog dedicated to issues concerning boundaries within the context of geospatial and politics. This blog covers both land and maritime boundaries, either national or international. It was founded by I Made Andi Arsana, a lecturer in the Department of Geodesy and Geomatics in Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. Initially, this blog was established to accommodate and file progress of his research during his master study in the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. However, the blog has been developing well and now become a ’serious’ blog with number of postings related to boundary issues.

Even though postings in this blog are generally written carefully with proper study and or research, it is not recommended to refer this blog as a primary reference of academic writings. One should consult with Andi Arsana, the blog owner, before citing any statement or opinion in this blog. Please feel free to email Andi for any inquiries.
